About

38 years building things that work.
Now building them with AI.

I spent nearly four decades at the University of South Carolina — in the School of Medicine, the Arnold School of Public Health, Creative Services, and the College of Information and Communication. I learned how large institutions work, what they need, and how to make technology actually useful inside them.

Now I focus on AI — building practical tools, designing curriculum that works in real classrooms, and helping organizations move from curiosity to capability. I bring a rare combination: deep institutional knowledge, hands-on technical ability, and the teaching experience to make complex ideas accessible to any audience.

I hold an M.A. in Digital Media Technology from USC and a B.A. in Journalism. I'm currently Professional Faculty at USC's College of Information and Communication and founder of Palmetto Cyber Works.
